Can't get worse

Wesley sits down on the ledge overlooking the Grand Canyon. Newspaper in one hand, coffee in the other and Connor chained to his motorbike, he thinks about how the day just can’t get any worse.
It started when the phone’s insistent ringing woke him up. It was Adèle claiming an octopus was in her bathtub, refusing to give her lipstick back.
So, naturally, he went over there, harpoon in hand, only to find out Octopus is her brother. His too tight see-through rubber dress definitely no wet dream material.
Back in his apartment again, he checked his email.
Big mistake!
It took him all afternoon to rid his laptop of the demon porn pictures that kept popping up; compliments of the lovely Lorne.
Finally, chilling out at his favourite pub was ruined by the sight of the bartender bending over the bar, pants down, letting a Fyarl demon stake him, while drinking gin with a straw.
At least the negatives will secure him a comfortable pension.
And now he is here, babysitting Connor, while Angel climbs down to retrieve his precious pot of hair gel, instead of lying in bed, dreaming ...
about a hot game of strip cricket.
